ENTRY CRITERIA: Each artist may submit two original works, not previously exhibited in any LAA show, in any media except photography. Work must be the artist’s original design. You may not enter work that has been produced under supervision in a workshop. Your entry acknowledges permission to have your work photographed or videotaped for promotional use.
DELIVERY: Sunday, June 27, 2021, 8 – 10 AM
PROCEDURE: Artists will be contacted by LAA only if your work is not accepted. Calls will go out Sunday, June 27 between 10:30 and 11:30 AM. Please list a phone number where you can be reached. Please check your voice mail. If called, pick up your work or arrange for someone else to do so on Sunday, June 27, from 11 am to 1 PM.
PICKUP OF ACCEPTED WORK: August 22, 2 –4 pm

Jurors

Evan Summer
Evan Summer received his MFA in Printmaking from the Yale University School of Art and went on to teach for 34 years at Kutztown University before retiring in 2019. At Kutztown University he received their two most prestigious awards, the Chambliss Award for Outstanding Scholarship and the Wiesenberger Award for Excellence in Teaching. He has exhibited in over 300 exhibitions and had numerous printmaking residencies in China and Italy. His work is included in many permanent collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D. C., the Library of Congress, Achenbach Foundation of the California Legion of Honor, San Francisco, CA, the Brooklyn Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the China Printmaking Museum in Guanlan, China.

Mark Mahosky
Mark received his BFA from Temple University, Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and his MFA in painting from Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. He has shown his work in galleries in NY, Detroit, Houston, Portland OR, Baltimore, and Rhode Island. Mahosky has been affiliated with the Fleisher Ollman Gallery in Philadelphia since 1986. He was one of the inaugural Artists in Residence at the Gettysburg National Military Park. He has been a professor of drawing and painting for over thirty years and has been teaching painting at Kutztown University since 2004.
