Views of the Valley: A Plein Air Experience
Views of The Valley: A Plein Air Experience is held yearly in the month of May with plenty of time and opportunity to paint plein air in and around the region in Pennsylvania. This event culminates with an exhibition in the Nazareth Center for The Arts with part of the proceeds to benefit NCA. All artists are invited to participate (You don't need to be a LAA member)
June 6 - July 18, 2026
Opening Reception: June 7, 2-4pm
Gallery Hours: Fridays 5PM-7PM, Saturdays and Sundays 12PM-5PM
Awards for People’s Choice, Best of Show, Best Nazareth Scene, and Semi-quincentennial (Most Patriotic or Historical Scene)
Plein Air paintings can be completed in the Lehigh Valley or surrounding counties during the month of May up to drop off! The paintings only need to be completed in May!
Register NOW or anytime in May to be included in Views of The Valley.

Throughout the month of May - Submit images of your pieces as you complete them. Email images to info@lehighartalliance.org, to be included in the promotion of View of the Valley Plein Air Exhibit!

Watercolor, oil, pastel, pencil, ink, acrylic, or mixed media are all acceptable mediums!
JUST GET OUT THERE AND CREATE!
We are planning Paint Out Meet Up Dates in May! Watch for notifications of where and when in Flash News and on Facebook and Instagram. Any paintings done with the Bethlehem Palette Club paint outs during May are eligible.
This event is a fun, low stress activity to promote Plein Air and The Nazareth Center For The Arts.

Prospectus
The Exhibit will be at the Nazareth Center for the Arts, 30 E Belvidere St, Nazareth, PA 18064
Commission on sales is 30% to Nazareth Center for the Arts
Artists may submit up to 5 pieces
There is no entry fee
This is a non-juried exhibit
Plein Air paintings can be completed in the Lehigh Valley or surrounding counties during the month of May up to drop off!
Paintings may not be larger than 42" wide or 60" high with frame.
For unframed work, sides of canvases must be finished and not show staples.
All pieces must be securely wired and braced for hanging
All work must remain for the duration of the show.
Your entry acknowledges permission to have your work photographed or videoed for promotional use.
